I’m Nawang Dorji, founder of OMSHA Travel. My journey into tourism began after I completed my degree in Journalism from Bangalore University. Soon after returning to Bhutan, I discovered my true passion — sharing the beauty, culture, and traditions of my country with travelers from all over the world.
For over 10 years, I worked as a licensed guide, leading guests through Bhutan’s valleys, mountains, and monasteries. Those years taught me that travel is not just about visiting places — it’s about creating connections, telling stories, and leaving with memories that last a lifetime.
With this experience and a deep love for my homeland, I started OMSHA Travel. My vision was simple: to combine the authenticity and insider knowledge of a Bhutan local tour operator with the high standards expected from the best Bhutan tour operator and top Bhutan travel agency.
