Cancellation & Refund Policy:
We understand that plans can change. In the event you need to cancel your trip, the following refund terms apply:
Government Fees (SDF & Visa)
- Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): This fee is fully refundable if the trip is cancelled before your arrival in Bhutan.
- Please note: Any bank transmission charges or processing fees incurred during the refund transfer will be deducted from the total SDF amount.

- Visa Fee: The $40 visa fee is non-refundable once the application has been processed by the Department of Immigration.
Tour Package Cancellation
Refunds for the remaining tour costs are subject to our flexible cancellation terms, as well as specific hotel policies:
- 24-Hour Flexibility: You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure without incurring any cancellation fees from OMSHA Travel. This allows you to adjust your travel plans with flexibility and peace of mind.
- Hotel Policy Clause: While our agency fee is flexible, any refunds for the accommodation portion of your package are strictly subject to the individual hotel’s cancellation policy. Depending on the property, some hotels may require a longer notice period or charge a late-cancellation fee.
Hotel-Specific Cancellation Policy:
- 4-Star and 5-Star Hotels: Cancellation policies for 4-star and 5-star hotels may vary based on their individual policies. We will provide you with the specific cancellation terms applicable to your hotel reservation at the time of booking.
- If you cancel a hotel booking, please refer to the hotel’s policy for details on any potential charges or refunds, as these are determined by the hotel’s own rules and regulations.
