Red Panda Brewery

Red Panda Brewery, located in Bumthang, Bhutan, is a well-known establishment producing Bhutan’s first and only locally brewed beer. The brewery has gained a reputation for its high-quality beer, made using traditional methods and local ingredients.

The brewery’s flagship product is the Red Panda Wheat Beer, an unfiltered and naturally carbonated beer. It is known for its refreshing taste, cloudy appearance, and a slight hint of banana and clove flavors, typical of a classic wheat beer.

Established in 2006, Red Panda Brewery was founded by Fritz Maurer, a Swiss national who brought his brewing expertise to Bhutan. The brewery was set up to produce craft beer using the pristine water and high-quality ingredients available in the Bumthang Valley.
