Bhutan is a truly spectacular country and the people made the experience all the more special Organising the trip with Nawang was effortless. He understood immediately what we required and customised the trip according to our interests. Sonam, our guide is an absolute gem. He was so eager to share his knowledge and love for his country. He was friendly and extremely accommodating. His answer was always yes and it made our trip all the more special. We will always remember this trip and it’s because of him Our driver Tashi- quiet, respectful and extremely kind. Always greeted us with a smile. The hotels were clean and check in/out was seamless. We requested for a bike for 3 days and absolutely loved riding it. Both the guide and driver were very comfortable with handling both bike and car which made us feel very safe. We cannot recommend Omsha travels enough. The trip has been perfect: the hotels, the food, the people, the landscapes, the architecture... Our favorites were the Punakha Dzong (with incredible beauty) and the immense Phobjikha Valley. And we especially loved the picnic and hot stone bath plans for their authenticity. All the hotels were great, with spacious rooms and great service, and the daily food has been very good, very abundant, rich and varied.Very well organized trip, with a special mention to the guide Bijay and the driver Karma, a 10 for them! I really recommend the tour, especially my guide Sonam Lhamo and driver Ugyen Wangchuk. They were both fantastic and made my trip great. The schedule allowed to see so many things, yet it did not feel rushed. Also the tour allowed for tailored activities depending on what I wanted to see and visit. I would have spent more time though because 4 days was too short for me. My guide Sonam had so much knowledge about all the sites as well as answering my questions about history and culture, and driver Ugyen was very caring and always prioritising safety and wellbeing. The accomodations the tour selected were also very nice and comfortable. Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s Oldest and Holiest Temples

Kyichu Lhakhang, also spelled Kyerchu, was originally built in the 7th century by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo as part of his grand mission to subdue a demoness lying across the Himalayas. It is believed to be one of the 108 temples he constructed in a single day to pin her down. Over the centuries, the temple has been expanded and maintained by Bhutanese kings and religious figures, preserving its ancient aura and spiritual power.
