EXCELLENT Based on 138 reviews Posted on Lucy H8 May 2026Verified OMSHA was the best!!! We had the most fabulous time with our guide Sonam and driver Tashi! We were busy with several experiences every day, and had nice comfortable lodging every night. I loved our opportunities to see how paper is made, rice is roasted, mandelas are drawn with such minute perfect brush strokes, and overall how Bhutanese people live. This trip was full of learning. I especially loved how Gross National Happiness informs all things in Bhutan. I highly recommend OMSHA for travel in Bhutan! Posted on Barbara A3 May 2026Verified Best Bhutan Trip Omsha Travel is a terrific operator in Bhutan. I was well cared for and the driving was excellent. Even on hairy muddy roads I had full confidence in the driver. My guide was always there to explain and teach and share. Also held my hand on tough Tigers Nest steps. And hats off to the owner for flexibility on arranging before and during the trip.Posted on JMAndré3 May 2026Verified Unforgettable experience Excellent feelings and memories with OMSHA travel and my guide Sonam Dorji, and driver Tashi, all along the tour. This guide covers how to fly, what to see, visa information, travel tips — and how to book your tour with OMSHA Travel.
India – Golden Triangle & Varanasi
India is vibrant, historic, and spiritually powerful. The classic Golden Triangle route includes Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
Delhi – Where Old Meets New
Begin in Delhi, where ancient monuments stand beside modern city life. Visit the towering Qutub Minar, explore the Mughal masterpiece Humayun’s Tomb, and wander through the busy streets of Old Delhi.
Agra – The City of Love
In Agra, witness the world-famous Taj Mahal, a timeless symbol of love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Also explore the impressive Agra Fort, which reflects the grandeur of the Mughal Empire.
Jaipur – The Pink City
Jaipur offers royal palaces and desert charm. Visit the majestic Amber Fort, admire the unique windows of Hawa Mahal, and experience colorful Rajasthani markets.
Varanasi – Spiritual Heart of India
After the Golden Triangle, travel to Varanasi, one of the world’s oldest living cities. Watch the evening prayer ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat and take a sunrise boat ride on the sacred Ganges River. Varanasi offers a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience.
How to Fly
Most international travelers arrive in Delhi via Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), one of Asia’s major hubs. Delhi connects seamlessly to Europe, the Middle East, the USA, and Southeast Asia.
Within India, you can travel between cities by flight, train, or private car.
Visa for India
Most travelers need an India e-Visa for tourism. Apply online before your trip; durations vary (7 days, 14 year, or longer depending on nationality). Always check official government updates.

Bhutan – The Last Himalayan Kingdom
Bhutan is known for its peaceful environment, preserved culture, and focus on Gross National Happiness. A Bhutan tour blends natural beauty with rich Buddhist heritage.
Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery
In Paro, hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley. This sacred monastery is Bhutan’s most famous landmark and a must-visit highlight.
Thimphu – Capital with Culture
Drive to Thimphu, where tradition meets gentle modernity. Visit the massive Buddha Dordenma, overlooking the valley, and explore local handicraft markets and monasteries.
Punakha – The Most Beautiful Dzong
Cross the scenic Dochula Pass to reach Punakha. Here you will visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. It is considered one of the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan.
Gangtey – Nature & Serenity
In the peaceful Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley), enjoy the scenic Gangtey Nature Trail. This gentle walk takes you through forests, open valleys, and traditional villages, offering stunning views and fresh mountain air.
How to Fly
Fly into Paro International Airport (PBH) from major cities like Delhi or Kathmandu. The mountain approach offers stunning Himalayan views.
Visa for Bhutan
Except for citizens of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives, all travelers must apply for a Bhutan visa in advance through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator (like OMSHA Travel). Bhutan mandates pre-arranged tours and fees such as the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF).
Tour operator (like OMSHA Travel) will arrange visa and permits
Nepal – Kathmandu & Pokhara
Nepal combines spiritual heritage with incredible Himalayan scenery.
Kathmandu – City of Temples
Arrive in Kathmandu, where ancient temples and stupas fill the valley. Visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, and the impressive Boudhanath.
Pokhara – Gateway to the Himalayas
Travel to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and watch the sunrise over the Annapurna range from Sarangkot.
