EXCELLENT Based on 150 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Jorg H12 July 2026Verified perfect days in Bhutan We were so lucky to have Sonam as our guide for our 8 day tour of Bhutan. Everything along the way was perfect and we had no difficulties at all. Sonam was friendly, funny and entertaining, but what really blew us away was her knowledge of the history of Bhutan and Buddhism and her ability to tell the stories and legends of the various characters in Buddhism that we encountered. He knowledge really helped to enhance our enjoyment of Bhutan as well as our other travels into Tibet and China. I also want to mention our driver Nawang. He was a very calm and careful driver and we appreciated his driving over some challenging roads. We never felt scared or nervous and he never lost his cool, or became frustrated with other drivers. Overall, our guide and driver team made our trip to Bhutan easy, educational, fun, interesting, safe and fantastic!! The tour itself was well thought out, customized according to our interests, competitively priced and communication with Ngawang (not sure about spelling) the owner was very timely and clear.Posted on Tripadvisor Rita D3 July 2026Verified Excellent Price to Value Tour Fabulous Tour! We appreciated that OMSHA was responsive from inquiry to final booking. Price to value was excellent. We liked the selected itinerary and appreciated that we could make changes as needed. Our guides Sonam and Tashi were knowledgeable and professional and we had great conversations. It felt more like traveling with friends than with a tour. I would highly recommend OMSHA. You won't be disappointed!Posted on Tripadvisor Michael S16 June 2026Verified Hassle free and flexible Communication was quick and clear from the start. Personable. No regrets!Posted on Tripadvisor rayaro15 June 2026Verified Marvelous Bhutan We had a group of friends and family on 7 days tour of Western Bhutan. Level of service provided by OMSHA travel was unmatched in many areas. From the pick up at the airport, Sonam and Ganesh kept our exploration of Bhutan flawless. Our requests to visit specific areas and activities were accommodated. We spent a night in a homestay in Gasa, visited hot springs, had a lovely riverside birthday picnic and attended Folklore Show that was a highlight of our trip. Nawang handled all communications and financial details thoroughly and transparently.Posted on Tripadvisor Wander340623001438 June 2026Verified Amazing Bhutan We traveled to Bhutan in June 2026, and Omsha Travels made our holiday a truly wonderful experience. The Kingdom of Bhutan, a mystical and enchanting destination known for its unspoiled beauty and deep spiritual heritage, is now more accessible than ever. With the launch of Drukair’s direct flights from Dubai to Paro, traveling to Bhutan has become a convenient option for those based in the Middle East and beyond. Starting from October 28, 2024, these twice-weekly flights mark an exciting new chapter in Bhutan’s efforts to boost tourism and enhance connectivity with the rest of the world.
This new route offers travelers particularly from Europe, Africa, East Coast of USA, Middle East, Dubai and neighboring regions a faster, easier way to reach Bhutan, bypassing previously long and complex journeys involving multiple layovers. Whether you’re seeking adventure in the Himalayas, spiritual solace in Bhutan’s many sacred sites, or simply a serene getaway, Drukair’s new Dubai-Paro service opens the door to endless possibilities.
The Details: Drukair's Dubai-Paro Flights
Drukair’s twice-weekly flights will depart from Dubai on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 4:00 AM (flight KB801) and arrive in Paro at 10:30 AM, giving travelers a full day ahead to begin their Bhutanese adventure. The return flights (KB800) will leave Paro on Mondays and Fridays, departing at 8:45 AM and arriving in Dubai at 1:40 PM
The flights will be operated using an Airbus A319, which is specifically designed to handle the unique terrain and challenging landing conditions at Paro International Airport, one of the world’s most dramatic airports, located deep in the Bhutanese valleys.
Why Bhutan?
Bhutan is no ordinary destination. It is one of the last remaining kingdoms in the world, renowned for its unique approach to national development through the concept of Gross National Happiness (GNH). This philosophy values the well-being of the population over material wealth, a stark contrast to the GDP-focused development models seen in most countries. This cultural ethos is reflected in Bhutan’s sustainable tourism model, which prioritizes conservation and respect for local traditions.
Visitors to Bhutan are often struck by its blend of stunning landscapes and spiritual atmosphere. One of the most iconic landmarks is Paro Taktsang, or the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a Buddhist temple perched on a cliffside over 3,000 meters above sea level. The monastery is a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists worldwide and offers travelers an opportunity to meditate, hike, and explore Bhutan’s deep connection with Buddhism.
Beyond the spiritual highlights, Bhutan is a haven for adventure seekers. From trekking through the stunning Himalayan mountain trails to exploring Bhutan’s verdant valleys, Bhutan offers countless opportunities for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Whether it’s hiking, rafting, or even taking a thrilling mountain bike ride, Bhutan’s pristine nature is a dream for nature lovers.
For those looking to plan their adventure, Omsha Travel provides a wide range of adventure tour packages, making it easy for travelers to explore the best of Bhutan. For more details, check out OMSHA Travel.
Cultural and Spiritual Treasures Await
Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage is one of its key attractions. With Drukair’s new route, visitors can immerse themselves in the country’s vibrant traditions, colorful festivals, and historical landmarks. The Punakha Dzong, the Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu, and numerous monasteries scattered across the landscape, offer travelers a glimpse into Bhutan’s deep-rooted Buddhist culture.
Bhutan’s spiritual energy is palpable in every corner of the kingdom. For those looking to disconnect from the fast-paced world and embark on a journey of inner peace, Bhutan offers meditation retreats, yoga sessions, and healing experiences led by Buddhist monks. The country’s spiritual retreats are designed to rejuvenate both body and mind, making Bhutan the perfect destination for those seeking a mindful escape.
Omsha Travel offers spiritual tours to some of the most sacred sites in Bhutan, ensuring a peaceful and transformative journey.
Sustainable Travel in Bhutan
One of Bhutan’s key appeals is its strong commitment to sustainable tourism. Bhutan restricts the number of tourists allowed into the country each year, ensuring that its cultural and natural resources remain preserved. The country’s “high value, low volume” tourism policy requires visitors to pay a daily sustainable development fee, which helps maintain its environmental conservation efforts.
As a result, travelers to Bhutan can be assured that their visit will leave a positive impact on the country’s ecosystems and communities. Drukair’s new route complements this sustainable vision, allowing travelers to access Bhutan efficiently and responsibly.
If sustainability is important to you, consider booking your trip with Omsha Travel, which aligns with Bhutan’s commitment to eco-friendly travel.
Conclusion: A Journey to Remember
With Drukair’s new direct flights from Dubai to Paro, Bhutan is more accessible than ever for those seeking to explore its mystical beauty and rich cultural heritage. Whether you’re drawn by the allure of Bhutan’s spiritual retreats, its dramatic landscapes, or the promise of adventure in the Himalayas, now is the perfect time to book your journey.
